A jack-of-all-trades and master of many, Rayssa Slater has carved a unique path in the entertainment industry.

In music, she has shared stages with global superstars like Nick Jonas, Demi Lovato, The Beach Boys, Childish Gambino, and Christina Aguilera. From Coachella’s mainstage to The American Music Awards, Henson Studios, and The Voice, Rayssa has performed on some of the industry’s most iconic platforms. As a composer and artist, she blends pop, EDM, and rock to craft a distinctive sound—rich vocals, poignant lyrics, and electrifying guitars that move the soul and stir the unconscious mind. With degrees in Vocal Performance, Guitar Performance, and Electronic Music Production from the prestigious Musicians Institute, she earned scholarships from both the institute and The Recording Academy’s Grammy U program. Rayssa is also an Apple-Certified Logic Pro X user and a multi-instrumentalist who writes, composes, and produces her music.

In film and television, Rayssa earned her SAG card eligibility after a standout performance in 2017, officially joining the union in 2022. By 2024, she had joined the SAG Nomination Committee and frequently works on studio productions with Universal, Paramount, and Warner Bros. A budding comedic talent, she recently received a scholarship to The Groundlings School’s Core Track program.

Born in São Paulo, Brazil, Rayssa became fluent in Spanish and English by age five after moving to Miami, FL, and has maintained fluency in Portuguese while adding ‘Ōlelo Hawai’i to her repertoire. After studying computer science and political science in New York City, she settled in Los Angeles and pursued her entertainment career. Beyond the arts, Rayssa is a certified lifeguard with both the American Red Cross and Ellis & Associates, and she passionately supports TWLOHA, a nonprofit connecting individuals to mental health resources.

In her downtime, Rayssa enjoys surfing, attending FYC events, and spending time with friends, family, and her two beautiful cats.
